  5. Welcome to Techno Design Converter.
  6.  
  7. Techno Design Converter is a freeware which enables 
  8. you to convert a measure value given by a user into typical measures used
  9. by QuarkXPress™.  
  10.  
  11. These values are:
  12. - Centimeters
  13. - Millimeters
  14. - Ciceros
  15. - Points
  16. - Picas
  17. - Inches
  18.  
  19. As part of Techno Design promotion programe, the Techno Design Converter provides
  20. information about all of our standard XTensions.

  23. System Requirements:
  24. To run this XTension you need an Apple Macintosh computer running System 7.0 
  25. or above and have a QuarkXPress 3.31 or higher installed.

  28. How to Install:
  29. To install Techno Design Converter please follow the instructions below: 
  30. -    Make sure your Apple computer specification is as described above in our
  31.         System Specification or a beter one.
  32. -    Shutdown QuarkXPress savely if it is running, goto the folder where your 
  33.         QuarkXpress is located. 
  34. -    Select folder called "XTension", create one if there no such a folder found.
  35. -    Copy Techno Design Converter XTension into the folder "XTension".
  36.         You can do this by draging the XTension file into this folder.
  37. -    Start QuarkXPress.

  40. How to Use:
  41. If you have installed the Techno Design Converter,  start your QuarkXPress application.
  42. QuarkXPress will automatically load the XTension during the startup and place
  43. the Techno Design Converter floating window in its working space.

  45. If you do not see this floating window then you have to activate the XTension
  46. floating window manually. You can do this by choosing the QuarkXPress menu: 
  47. View | Show Techno Design Converter.

  49. Converting value is very easy, just insert some value in the value field and
  50. Techno Design Converter converts this value directly to different measures.

  52. Click the Techno Design Converter button to get more informations about our
  53. standard XTensions and our contact informations. Once you have clicked this 
  54. button an about box will appear in the QuarkXPress working space. Select a product
  55. you want to know more about, and click on the product logo.
